MANUU Part Time Ph.D. programmes last date extended

Hyderabad:

 

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has extended the last date for submission of online application forms for Ph.D. part time programmes in Sponsored/Self-financing mode upto February 19, 2026. The research admission test will be held as scheduled on February 28.

 

According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Director, Directorate of Admissions, part time PhD programs are available under School of Commerce and Business Management, School of SciencesSchool of Technology, School of Education & Training, School of Mass Communication & Journalism, School of Languages, Linguistics & Indology (Dept. of Hindi), MANUU Law School & School of Arts and Social Sciences (Dept. Political Science, Public Administration, History, Social Work, Sociology and Economics,) and H.K. Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies in winter session 2026 offered at Hyderabad campus.

“Chemistry for a Sustainable Future” International Conference held at MANUU

 

Hyderabad:

 

The Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, organized the 3rd International Conference 2026 "Chemistry for a Sustainable Future: Discovery, Innovation and Impact" today.

 

Presiding over the inaugural session, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor reiterated the University’s dedication to advancing research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and societal impact through science education.

 

The Chief Guest, Prof. Sriniwas Nanduri, Director, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Hyderabad emphasized the importance of translating chemical research into solutions addressing global sustainability challenges and strengthening academia–industry partnerships.

 

Prof. Aleem Basha, Dean, School of Sciences spoke about the significance of such academic platforms in promoting intellectual exchange and nurturing future researchers. Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan, Head, Department of Chemistry in his welcome address highlighted the Department’s commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability-oriented research, and academic collaboration. Dr. Salahuddin Syed, Conference Convenor outlined the objectives of the conference, emphasizing opportunities for scholarly interaction and dissemination of research outcomes.

 

The book “Chalcones and Their Derivatives: From Synthesis to Applications” authored by Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan and published by Elsevier alongwith the Conference Abstract were also released on the occasion.

 

Dr. Shahjahan and Ms. Noorunnisa anchored the proceedings and Ms. Anzar Jahan delivered a Vote of Thanks.
