Maulana Azad National Urdu University is inviting application from eligible students for admission in UG/CUET-UG/PG (Merti based)/Certificate/Diploma programs. The portal will be opened upto September 04, 2026.
According to Prof. Syed Imtiyaz Hassan, Director, Directorate of Admissions,candidates who wish to apply afresh as well as those who had applied earlier and did not get admission can avail this opportunity.
The edit options by candidates already applied but not allotted seat alongwith document upload is also open upto September 04. Online document verification will be done on September 07 and selected candidates list will be displayed on September 08 whereas fee payment date is September 09 & 10.
Humanitarian Emergency Response Programme inaugurated at MANUU

"Resilience is not built solely through top-down interventions but through sustained investment in local capacities: community-level preparedness planning, early warning awareness, and the empowerment of local actors to lead response efforts before, during, and after a disaster" said Mr. Sagar Dhara, Sr. Environmentalist & Risk Analysis Expert today at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). He was delivering a keynote address on the theme "Humanitarian Leadership in Disaster Risk Reduction: Strengthening Community Resilience through Preparedness and Local Action". Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, MANUU presided over the inaugural session.
The Department of Public Administration, MANUU, in collaboration with ActionAid association, is organizing a three-Day Humanitarian Emergency Response Programme, titled ‘Building Community Capacity for Emergency Response and Inclusive Disaster Risk Management in Hyderabad’
Drawing on his extensive background in environmental and risk analysis, Mr. Dhara's address focused on the critical role of leadership - at both institutional and grassroots levels - in driving effective disaster risk reduction. He also highlighted about the situation of Nepal affected by severe flooding and the casualties reported which happened in September 2026.
In his Presidential Address, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of disaster risk management and preparedness for the frontline responders.
Dr. Esther Mariaselvam, Associate Director, ActionAid, spoke on the theme "Setting the Context: Objectives and Overview of the Three-Day Emergency Response Training" whereas Dr. M. Md. Irfan, ActionAid delivered address on "Disaster Risk Landscape of Hyderabad".
Prof. P.H. Mohammad, Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences, MANUU was also present. Prof. Syed Najiullah, Head, Department of Public Administration delivered the Welcome Address. The programme was compered by Dr. Ahmed Raza, Dept. of Public Administration, MANUU, while Ms. Vandana, ActionAid proposed the vote of thanks.
