Maulana Azad National Urdu University took the lead in preparing E-content on National Education Policy 2020. Students, teachers and other stake holders including the general public shall able to use this e-content. Keeping in mind the needs of students, the preparation of e-material should focus on interpretation rather than mere translation. E-material shall be prepared in a user friendly language. These views were expressed by Prof. S M Rahmatullah, Vice Chancellor I/c, at the inaugural session of the workshop“Producing E content on National Education Policy 2020” held yesterday by Instructional Media Center (IMC) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University. He was delivering the presidential address at IMC Preview.
MANUU has took a significant step forward in developing electronic materials covering various aspects of NEP with the help of IMC .
Prof. Siddiqui Mohammad Mahmood, Registrar I/c, while explaining the importance of e-content, reminded that the national education policy was always promoted and propagated through the available media. Preparation of e-content is very important in view of today’s online education practices.

Dr. Syed Aman Ubed, Associate Professor, Directorate of Distance Education presented a lecture on “Preparing the e-content” whereas Mr. Rizwan Ahamd, Director IMC spoke on “Producing e-tutorial” in technical sessions.
