Urdu University Celebrates Republic Day

Hyderabad:

Gathering today in a coronavirus-free environment reflects the hard work and sacrifices of those involved in health, sanitation and police services as well as the effective steps taken by the Central and State Governments. We are all grateful for that. These views were expressed by Prof. S M Rahmatullah, Vice-Chancellor I/c, while addressing the gathering after unfurling the tricolour today at Maulana Azad National Urdu University. As such the constitution was adopted on January 26, 1950 and it is the citizens of India who carry it in letter and spirits.Paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi, he said that Gandhiji in his book “Mere Sapnaon ka Bharat” had already echoed similar views enshrined in the constitution.

Referring to the National Education Policy 2020, Prof. Rahmatullah said that it is an excellent policy and MANUU has started the preparation of electronic content (e-content) and this work will be completed soon. Hopefully MANUU will become the first university in the country to do this kind of work.
