Freedom meant to deliver responsibilities towards our country : Prof. Ainul Hasan MANUU Celebrates 75thIndependence Day

Hyderabad:

 The aim of freedom is to fulfill our responsibilities towards our duties, family, city and our country. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, MANUU expressed the view while addressing the gathering after unfurling the tricolour today at Maulana Azad National Urdu University campus.

University is celebrating the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” in a befitting manner.

Prof. Ainul Hasan said that we cannot forget the sacrifices of our freedom fighters on the occasion of 75th year of Freedom.Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is one among them. If he had not taken part in the freedom struggle despite being in jail, we would not have been breathing in Independent India. The Indians who were born on this land after independence may not feel the pain of sacrifices by those who were born before independence. We are fortunate to born in Independent India. Talking about Covid he said, being Indian now it is our responsibility to follow protocols and get vaccinated at the earliest.

 

Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c, Mr. M G Gunasekaran, Finance Officer, Prof. Abul Kalam, Proctorattended the function. The faculty members, officers and other staff attended the programme with all precautionary and preventive measures of Covid 19.

 

Dr. Karan Singh Utwal, Head, Dept. of Hindi and Dr. Mohd. Muzaffar Hussain, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Education & Training led the students in presenting the National Anthem.

 

Instructional Media Centre of MANUU live streamed the programme on IMC MANUU youtube channel. The programme was organized by the organizing committee under the supervision of the chairperson, Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Khan.
