Press Release: Delegation from Sudanese University visits MANUU | MANUU to hold Symposium on women protection in digital spaces and Unani Health Camp organised at MANUU

Delegation  from Sudanese University visits MANUU

Hyderabad: 

A delegation from White Nile University, Sudan visited Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) today and met the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan. The delegation, led by Prof. Elshazali Eisa Hamad, Vice-Chancellor of White Nile University, discussed the possibility of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities.

Prof. Ainul Hasan during meeting with the guests discussed potential areas of collaboration. The authorities of both the Universities agreed to explore the possibility of a formal partnership, including student and faculty exchange programs and joint research projects. The proposed collaboration is expected to benefit both universities and promote academic and cultural exchange between India and Sudan.

Mahmood, OSD II & Dean, School of Education & Training, Prof. Salman Ahmed Khan, Dean, School of Sciences, Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Dean, Student Welfare along with his team Prof. Mohd Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Joint Dean, Dr K. M. Ziyauddin, Assistant Dean and Dr Jameel Ahamd, Assistant Dean were also present.

 

MANUU to hold Symposium on women protection in digital spaces

Hyderabad:

The Department of Women Education (DWE), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with Internal Complaints Committee, Instructional Media Centre and University’s Music, Drama, Film & Literary clubs is organizing a symposium “Gender Equality  & Protection of Women in Digital Spaces” on March 14, 2023, 3.00 pm in commemoration of International Women's Day. The Cultural Programme Sham-e-Mauseequi (A musical tribute to women) is also being organized at Saiyid Hamid Library Auditorium, MANUU.

According to Dr. Ameena Tahseen, Program Coordinator & Head, DWE, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor will preside over and Prof. Syeda Sameen Fatima, Founder Registrar, Anurag University will be the chief guest. Mr. Mohammed Arif Ali Khan, Chief Forensic Analyst, SVP National Police Academy and Dr. Farzana Khan, Program Head, My Choice Foundation are the guest speakers.

 

 

 

Unani Health Camp organised at MANUU

Hyderabad: 

The Residents Welfare Society (RWS) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with National Research Institute of Unani Medicine for Skin Disorders (NRIUMSD), Hyderabad organised a Unani Health camp at MANUU Ibn-e-Sina Health Centre on March 11. It was attended by more than three hundred students and staff members of MANUU.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor while inaugurating the camp appreciated the endeavors of RWS and spoke about the benefits of traditional and alternative medicine.

Dr. Ahmad Minhajuddin, Director in charge NRIUMSD, led team of experienced Unani Doctors and supporting medical staff , also examined the patients and said that he would like to set up a Unani Research Centre in MANUU campus.

Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, Prof. Farida Siddiqui, Chairperson, Health Committee, Doctors of the Health Centre and  Dr. Imtiyaz Alam, President RWS & organizer of the camp, Mr. Habib Ahmad, General Secretary along with the team were also present.
