About the Chairperson:
Prof. (Dr.) Tabrez Ahmad prior taking up the role of Professor & Founding Dean MANUU Law School in the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Hyderabad. He was the Senior Executive Director at Chandigarh University and the Vice Chancellor of GD Goenka University. He has also served in various academic and administrative positions such as Pro-Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University; Director & Dean, UPES Law School, Dehradun; Professor & Director, at Alliance University Bengaluru; Founder Director DILS, University of Burdwan West Bengal ; Head IPR Cell of UPES-UCOST (UK Council of Science & Technology); Professor of Cyber Law & IPR & Head at KIIT University Bhubaneswar; Mentor at Technology Business Incubator, NSTEDB, Govt. of India; and founding faculty at WB NUJS Kolkata.
About the Speakers:
1. R. Sameer Ahmed is a practicing advocate at Telangana High Court & Andhra Pradesh Completed his B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) with a specialization in Constitutional law from KIIT law school Bhubaneswar. Enrolled in the Bar council of Telangana in the year of 2013 subsequent to graduating from Law School and has an experience of more than 10 years. From the year of 2014, have taken the bold decision to work independently and have handled a plethora of multi- disciplinary and versatile cases in the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Have allied in taking up matters relating to Criminal, Civil, Service Law, Foreign Trade Policy, Excise, Company law, Arbitration, Labour disputes, public interest litigations, Environmental violations, Have ably assisted the Court in all forums of law and have dealt with matters at Hyderabad, Amaravathi, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Nagpur etc. Including the National Green Tribunal. Have reported judgments in the field of Law of Criminal Law, Arbitration, Labour Law, Public Interest Litigation, Argued Public Interest litigations against Prison Mismanagement, Misuse of Minority welfare funds, Decisions effecting the livelihood of farmers, Mismanagement of Hospitals, Advocated for the rights of LGBT Community. Served as a visiting faculty of Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad and taught Public Law Skills Subject. Delivered guest lectures on Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Administrative laws at various academic Institutions.
2. Dr. Tausif Rehman is assistant Professor in Manuu Law School in the Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad. He has more than 15 years of Experience. He has Research Guidance of more than 200 plus students. Numerous Research Publications in National & International Journals.
3. Mohammad Tabish is assistant Professor in Manuu Law School in the Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad. He is Pursuing hIs Phd from Aligrah Muslim University Aligrah. He did his B.A.LLB & LLM from Aligrah Muslim University Aligrah. He has several Paper Publications in field of Law.
