COVID19 Monitoring and Re-opening of the University
Covid19 is an ongoing pandemic. It's impact is seen in India since March 2020. To deal with this pandemic, the University constituted a committee on 06/04/2020 to monitor, evaluate and facilitate the mental health and well being of students, teaching and non teaching staff of the university and to help them to overcome the stress, tension, depression and other mental issues emerging during and after COVID lockdown.
The committee was revised on 13/10/2020 to regularly monitor the COVID19 situation, take required action, if required on the spot action in case of emergencies, suggest measures to be taken, in view of the instructions of the GOI/UGC concerned State Governments issued from time to time, execute precautionary measures and submit the list of material to be procured in this regard and co-ordinate with the Health Committees constituted at Satellite Campuses etc. for the containment of COVID19 pandemic.
Further a committee "COVID19 Pandemic Monitoring Task Force & Committee for Re-opening of University in a Phased Manner" was constituted on 15/09/2021 to monitor the COVID19 Pandemic and initiate measures for its containment at Headquarters and offcampuses (in coordination with off-campuses) and chalk out necessary measures for reopening of University.
