MANUU Alumni Associations

Article IV. Aims and objectives;

The Association will be a non-profit making Society with the following aims and objectives:

4.1: To uphold the democratic and inclusive traditions of MANUU and to strive for Their furtherance through all the activities of AAM, including the organization of Annual and periodic Lectures / Seminars / Symposia etc. centered around themes that deepen our understanding and appreciation of the objectives & values enshrined in the Act of the  University;

4.2: To foster close relationship between AAM and the University;

4.3: To recognize and identify the role of MANUU Alumni as important stakeholders in the continuing quest to provide excellence in education by way of academic and technical collaborations;

4.4: To realize the enormous benefits that may come from the engagement of MANUU Alumni with the University and seek their support in identifying strategic directions for MANUU;

4.5: To provide opportunities for community service and to act as good-will ambassadors of MANUU within India and abroad;

4.6: To serve as effective interlocutors in upholding the cause of peace and disarmament and in promoting friendship and co-operation between peoples and nations across the world and in providing appropriate material and intellectual support to the University, particularly in locating and augmenting its front-line research areas;

4.7: To provide academic and professional interaction and networking among MANUU Alumni and endeavor to create career opportunities for the MANUU Student-community;

4.8: To organize socio-cultural events and interactions between Alumni and University members;

4.9: To honor the distinguished Alumni of MANUU who have excelled and contributed immensely in their respective domains.

4.10: To have “Chapters of The Association” at State Capital, City & District levels within India and outside India for furtherance of the objectives of the Association;

4.11: To uphold the historically and culturally inclusive traditions of MANUU and To strive for their furtherance through the AAM by reconnecting MANUU Alumni nationally & globally.

4.12: To acknowledge and glorify the achievements and laurels of the alumni and utilize the same to define & refine the academic directions of MANUU’s growth and development.

4.13: To disseminate and percolate down the alumni achievements to its Alma-mater for its continuing academic encouragement and bench-marking.

4.14: To involve / invite the Alumni’s resources and contributions towards excellence in education, research and in boosting the technical strength of MANUU.

4.15: To strengthen and augment the international collaborations through the alumni network to augment academic and monetary support towards MANUU’s outreach to larger society.

4.16: To provide opportunity for professional and academic interactions via networking among MANUU Alumni to mobilize resources for academic and career support for MANUU Students.

4.17: To create an Endowment Fund for MANUU through which MANUU alumni could channelize their contributions for its infrastructural development to strengthen teaching and research.

4.18: To highlight and spread the achievements of MANUU nationally & globally through our alumni network by using social media and other forms of media outreach program.

4.19: To organize socio-cultural events and interactions among MANUU Alumni and MANUU fraternity by specially organizing annual dinners and get together program to strengthen the practice of cultural inclusiveness and bonhomie.

4.20: To play a pivotal and leadership role in connecting the alumni with university leadership, faculties and departments as well as with current students.

4.21: To facilitate the presentation of opinions and recommendations of the Alumni to the Administration and faculty of the University, so as it shall serve as a resource for University in advancing its Missions.

4.22: To provide a platform for alumni chapters to connect with each other globally.

4.23: To prepare members of the Association to assume some responsibility in connection with the management and direction of educational institutions throughout the country.
