Article XXI. Election Procedure for Office Bearers;
Eleven members of Executive Committee of AAM as mentioned in article ix, clause 9.3 will be elected online by the General Body for the term of two years, which will be conducted by Election Committee under the aegis of the Office of Dean Alumni Affairs. Election Committee will be constituted by the Executive Committee duly approved by General Body. The Executive Committee will nominate one among the three members as the Chief of the Committee.
Online election will be conducted prior to the expiry of every two years’ term of office bearers for the investiture of new Executive Committee of AAM. Procedure for the Election of Eleven Members is as follows;

- An office bearer of the Association shall be eligible for re-election for the same office for not more than two consecutive terms.
- The Election Committee shall be appointed at least three weeks before the elections. The Election Committee shall stand dissolved automatically with the declaration of election results.
- The whole process from Election Notification to the Declaration of election results shall not exceed from three to four weeks time including holidays.
- The Elected Election Committee (three-members) can take the help of two more members as Co-opted members as supporting and technical staff.
- The Election Schedule will be released by the Chief Election Committee which shows the complete election process & schedule.
- The rules and regulations are to be framed by the Executive Committee in consultation with the election committee members duly approved by the General Body by two-third majority for smooth conduct of the process from time to time.
