Academic Activities

The UGC-HRDC (Human Resources Development Centre) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University organizes Orientation Programmes,Refresher Courses, Professional Development Programmes, workshops and webinars as approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) from time to time.

A NAAC team visited (the then) Academic Staff College (ASC) at MANUU from the 6th Feb.2012 to the 8th Feb, 2012 to validate the self assessment report submitted by the ASC, MANUU.It interactedwith the various stake holders including the Staff, Resource persons, Principals, Course coordinators and the participants of the previous programmes.

After the review by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), the Academic Staff College (ASC) at MANUU achieved 11th Position out of 66 Academic Staff Colleges of India.

For the assessment period from 2015 - 2019, the UGC and the Ministry of Education has ranked the UGC-HRDC at Maulana Azad National Urdu university as the 3^rd best in the country!

Our HRDC programmes are aligned with the objectives as identified by the UGC, which is to ensure that teachers are updated in terms of latest knowledge in their subject, the socio- economic and national development issues, new teaching and research methods, and aspects of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
