Profile of Reyaz Ahmad

Reyaz Ahmad is presently Associate Professor and Principal, College of Teacher Education, Nuh (Mewat) Maulana Azad National Urdu University. He holds a masters in three disciplinaries Urdu (AMU), History, M.Ed. (JMI) and M.Phil.  PhD. From Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He joined MANUU in 2005. Before joining MANUU, he worked at Govt. Schools in Delhi. His area of interest includes Language teaching, Pedagogy of Urdu, distance education, teacher education, and educational management. He has published 9 books on pedagogies/ higher education and 43 (Forty-Three) research paper and articles in reputed national and international journals. He has also contributed 64 chapter/ units/ lessons in edited books/ SLM modules at UG and PG levels. Dr. Reyaz has presented over 35 research papers in several national and international conferences/seminars and workshops. He has delivered more than 40 invited lectures and talks at different institutions/ Universities/ television/ All India Radio on education/ Training/ language & Culture and Madrasa Education. He also worked as warden/senior warden, Assistant Proctor, course coordinator and coordinator B.Ed. Distance Mode. He is also member of different academic bodies and reputed committees at national and international level. He is a proud alumnus of AMU & JMI.
