A five-day workshop on the development of bi-lingual learners’ glossary of Political Science in Urdu and Telugu was inaugurated at the Department of Political Science, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). The workshop is being conducted in collaboration with the Commission of Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), Ministry of Education, Government of India.
While addressing, Dr. Shahzad Ansari, Assistant Director of CSTT said that the Commission under the leadership of Prof. Girish Nath Jha, Chairman of CSTT has taken many initiatives to help the students, educators, policy makers and working professionals by means of developing technical terminologies across the disciplines and areas.
Prof. Afroz Alam, Head of the Department highlighted the growing importance of the technical terminologies. Prof. A Nageswara Rao proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Khurshid Alam, Assistant Professor is coordinating the workshop.
Experts from various central and state universities are participating in the workshop.
