MANUU, IMC to Host Workshop  "Community Radio Management and Content Creation"

Hyderabad:

The Instructional Media Centre (IMC), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), is organising a one-day workshop on January 23, 2025. The workshop theme is “Strengthening Community Voices: Best Practices, Challenges, and Innovations in Community Radio Management and Content Creation”.

 According to Mr. Rizwan Ahamd, Director, IMC, interested participants can register online till January 17, 2025. The faculty, staff, students, and radio aspirants, can register at https://forms.gle/eJvaaCiAB6HCk63W8. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited availability.

The distinguished community radio experts - Prof. Vinod Pavarala, a Senior Professor, Department of Communication & UNESCO Chair on Community Radio, University of Hyderabad, Dr. R Sreedher, (Professor Emeritus), Apeejay Stya University, Dr. V. Rama Rao, Former CEO, MANATV, Government of Telangana; Founding Director, IMC MANUU & Mr. Amit Dwivedi, Project Director, CRS Cell, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India will led the sessions of the workshop.

The workshop aims to highlight the transformative potential of community radio and equip participants with the skills and insights needed to drive social change through effective radio communication.
