MANUU holds Mega Job Fest under Jashn-e-Baharan

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) today inaugurated a Mega Job Fair held for students from MANUU and other institutions of vocational, technical & professional streams at MANUU Polytechnic Hyderabad. 158 candidates from MANUU and outside were selected by different companies.
The job fair was conducted by the Training and Placement Cell of MANUU in collaboration with Galaxy Placement Services and Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm as part of “Jashn-e-Baharan 2023” organized by MANUU Students' Union (MSU).
After inaugurating, Prof. Hasan thanked GALAXY and AMP for their collaboration and appreciated the companies for coming to MANUU for selecting students. He further stressed upon the students to equip with the requirement of the market in every field and expressed best wishes to them.
According to Dr. Md. Yousuf Khan, I/c T&PC, total 58 companies participated in the job fair and conducted interviews of the students. The interviews was attended by 819 candidates and 342 of them were shortlisted whereas 158 students got selected on the spot.
Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Dean Students’ Welfare, Prof Abdul Wahid, Dean School of Technology, Dr Husamuddin CEO, Galaxy Group of Institutions, Mr Shahid Haider Head Employment & Training AMP, were also present.
One Day Seminar on Yoga at MANUU

Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s NSS Cell is organizing a one-day seminar on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 13. This event is sponsored by Inter University Center for Yogic Science on the theme of Yoga for Humanity. Scholars from different parts of the country will deliver lectures on Yoga.
According to NSS Coordinator Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor will preside over the inaugural at 12 noon in CPDUMT Auditorium. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Rai, Banaras Hindu University, Dr. Rashmi Singh and Dr. Sarita Kumar from Karnal, Haryana and other scholars will also attend.
Plantation Drive held at MANUU
Hyderabad:
Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) today organized a plantation drive under Jal Shakti Abhiyan Committee in connection with World Environment Day celebrations to make the environment clean and to make people aware of its importance.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor planted a sapling near the new rain water harvesting pond, at Professor Quarters, MANUU campus.
Prof. Ainul Hasan, said that trees are the lungs of the earth, if we continue to cut trees, the coming generations will have to carry oxygen cylinders to breathe. That's why we should plant trees for our future generation and our own life as well.
Earlier, on June 5, various programs like Quiz, Painting Competition, Essay Writing Competition were organized under World Environment Days celebrations.
On this occasion Prof. F. Rahman Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Abdul Haque University, Kurnool, Prof. Shakeel Ahmad, Chairman Jal Shakti Committee, Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Convener Jal Shakti Committee and Dean and Head Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean School of Technology, Prof. Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Dean, Student’s Welfare, Dr. Jamaluddin khan, Dy. Registrar, Assistant Professors Polytechnic - Iqbal Khan, Zeenat Ara, Hajira Fatima, Mohammad Hafeez, coordinators of world environment day celebrations and other members were present.
