MANUU ITI Hyderabad, admission counselling
Hyderabad:
The Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Hyderabad, of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is conducting counselling for admission into different ITI Trades on June 22, 2023 at 9.00 am at MANUU ITI.
According to Dr. Arshia Azam, Principal, the merit number of the candidate will be displayed on the notice board at MANUU-ITI Hyderabad on the day of counselling. Two sets of photo copies of 10th/SSC/equivalent board mark sheet, transfer certificate, bonafied/conduct certificate, valid caste/category certificate, Aadhaar Card, 4 passport size latest photographs and one photograph each of parents/guardian are required for verification at the time of counselling. Candidates selected for admission shall have to pay Rs. 60/- towards caution money deposit.

World Sickle cell anaemia Day observed at MANUU
Hyderabad:
The Zoology Section of School of Sciences, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) yesterday conducted World Sickle Cell Awareness Day - 2023.
Dr. P. Rajesh, Head, health initiative from nirman.org and K. Shailesh Babu from KVR foundation working on the cause of steps towards anemia free society delivered lectures. They spoke about the importance of screening programmes for anemia in high risk populations.
Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology, Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan, Dean, School of Sciences were present. Prof. Parveen Jahan, Head Zoology and organizing secretary also addressed.
The students were encouraged for their participation by giving best oral and poster presentation awards. Later, nirman.org, sponsored anemia screening was done for the participating students, Research scholars and faculty.
“Meet the Author” programme held at MANUU
Hyderabad:
The University Literary Club, under the patronage of Dean Students' Welfare, MANUU organised a “Meet The Author” program on 19th June, 2023 at Cultural Activity Centre, MANUU. Dr. Sarfaraz Nawaz from Shibli National College, Azamgarh, UP addressed the students on various aspects of Literature, Poetry and Translation. Dr. Sarfaraz, a English Teacher, is a well known Urdu and English poet.
Dr. Firoz Alam (President, ULC MANUU) gave a brief account of literary club activities. Prof. Syed Aleem Ashraf Jaisi, DSW & HoD, Arabic presided over the session. Fahad Khaleeq, student of MA English introduced the guest.
Talha Mannan (Jt. Secretary, ULC) convened the program and Abdul Muqeet (Secretary, ULC) presented vote of thanks. A large number of students and faculty members attended the program.
MANUU awards PhD to Salma Khatoon in Computer Science
Hyderabad:
Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has declared Ms. P Salma Khatoon, D/o. Mr. P Jaffar Khan qualified in Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science. She worked on the topic “Development of an Effective Semantic Knowledge Base for IOT in Agriculture” under the supervision of Dr. Muqeem Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, MANUU. The Viva-Voce was held on 15-06-2023.
