MANUU UG admissions through CUET

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is offering admissions in Undergraduate programmes through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 for academic session 2023-24. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted common entrance test and recently announced the results.

According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Director, Directorate of Admissions, candidates who opted MANUU as choice for admission in 4-year UG programmes can register on link https://manuucoe.in/regularAdmission/ before August 05, 2023. The online counselling for admission will be on August 9 and 10.

Workshop on Testing & Evaluation begins at MANUU

The School of Education and Training (SE&T), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a five day Workshop cum Training programme on “Testing & Evaluation and Questions Item Preparation” in collaboration with National Testing Service-India (NTS-I), Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru. 39 participants from various schools, colleges and universities are attending the workshop. The workshop will conclude on July 28, 2023.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan,Vice-Chancellor presided over the inaugural session held yesterday at CPDUMT Auditorium, MANUU. He emphasized on preparing positive and valid questions instead of negative and bogus questions.

Prof. Siddiqui Mohd Mahmood, Dean SE&T in his keynote address, appreciated the activities of NTS-I and asked participants to follow the instructions of the experts.  He said that this kind of programme is essential for teachers of any discipline.

Speaking in the inaugural session, Dr. Abdul Halim, Resource Person from NTS-I briefed about CIIL activities and workshop objectives. He said that linguistic skills are equally crucial to a teacher of language and literature who provides instructions on basic skills like listening, speaking, reading and writing. Dr. Ghulam Mohiuddin Ansari, , Resource Person, NTS-I welcomed the gathering and convened the programme.

Dr. Md. Athar Hussain, Associate Professor, Department of Education & Training & local coordinator proposed vote of thanks.  Dr. Pankaj Dwivedi, Officer-in-charge, NTS-I is coordinating the workshop under the patronage of Prof. Shailendra Mohan, Director, CIIL, Mysuru.
