Dhanak Bazar held at MANUU

 

Hyderabad:

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Ladies Association and The SAFA, NGO today organized Dhanak Bazar - an Exhibition-cum-Sale at University campus. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, inaugurated the exhibition and also unveiled a standee about the aims and objectives of the Association established in April 2023. Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmad, Registrar was also attended the inaugural.

Mrs. Arshia Hasan, President, MANUU Ladies Association and Mr. Imam Husain, Director of Operations at SAFA were the Guests of Honour.

Prof. Shahida, Vice President of the Association, Prof. M. Vanaja, General Secretary,  Prof. Viquar Unnisa, Joint Secretary (Publicity), Dr. Ira Khan, Joint Secretary (Organizing), Dr. Mohasina Ansari, Treasurer and Prof. Ameena Tahseen, Head, Department of Women Education were also present.

Dhanak Bazar brought together a diverse array of women entrepreneurs from across the region, offering an opportunity for them to showcase and sell their unique products. Large number of students, teachers and staff visited the bazar.

 

 

MANUU will continue to strive towards excellence: Ainul Hasan

 

Hyderabad:

‘Urdu University will continue to strive towards excellence and will leave no stones unturned in its endeavour’, said Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) today while addressing the valedictory session of two Refresher Courses in Comparative Literature and General Sciences organized by Malviya Mission Teachers Training Centre (MMTTC, formerly UGC-HRDC) at MANUU. The refresher courses had commenced from October 4th 2023. 

Seventy-six assistant professors of different languages enrolled for the refresher course in comparative Literature. Participants in the Online Refresher Course in General Science were from diverse academic interest such as Microbiology, Botany, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Chemistry and Sociology.

Resource persons from various universities were invited to conduct courses.

Earlier, MMTTC Director, Prof. Saneem Fatima said that care had been taken to ensure that the latest development in comparative literature and sciences were included in the course.

The courses garnered significant interest and embraced a diverse array of topics within the realm of Comparative Literature and General Sciences.

 

Workshop on AI in Education begins at MANUU

Hyderabad:

The Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a five-day online workshop on AI in Education in a significant stride towards integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the realm of education.

Prof. M Vanaja, Dean, School of Education and Training and Prof. Razaullah Khan,Director, Directorate of Distance Education graced the inaugural of the workshop held on Monday.

On this occasion, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Centre Director felicitated Prof. M Vanaja for her recent nomination as a Member of the Southern Regional Committee of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) by the Government of India.

Dr. Misbah Anzar, Assistant Professor convened the programme.
