FDP on AI & QML begins at MANUU

Hyderabad: 

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, School of Technology, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organzing six days long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Machine Learning (AI & QML) from November 20 - 25, 2023. FDP, sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning Academy(ATAL) ATAL, is committed for development of quality technical education.

The Chief Guest Prof. Sk. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar today inaugurated the programme and congratulated the department for growing leaps and bounds and assured assistance in all aspects for the upcoming programmes. Total of 50 participants from various academic institutions across the country have been approved for the ATAL -FDP programme.

Prof Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology & Convener FDP welcomed the resource persons and the participants. Prof Pradeep Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology & Coordinator briefed about FDP on AI & QML and insights of the FDP to the participants Event concluded with a vote of thanks.

Opening session was delivered on “Statistical significance in AI & ML”  by Prof. G Manoj Kumar, University of Hyderabad(UoH) ,Hyderabad.

The broad objectives of ATAL scheme are to support technical institutions in fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship through training and provide training and exchange of experiences such as FDPs, orientation programs, learning communities.

 

MANUU students selected for National Trekking Campaign

Hyderabad: 

According to Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Incharge NCC Sub Unit, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, two NCC cadets - Senior Under Officer Quazi Gulam Sarvar and Junior Under Officer Saad Sarvar have been selected for All India Trekking Expedition 2023-24.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar congratulated the NCC Cadets for being selected for this campaign and expressed their best wishes.

All India Trekking Expedition is being organized in Kolhapur, Maharashtra from November 20 to 27, said MANUU's NCC officer Lt. M A Mujeeb.

The selection of these two students from all over South India is an honor for Urdu University.
