MANUU students shine in Bihar Public Service Commission, TRE

Hyderabad:

In the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) teacher recruitment exam (TRE), more than 180 students of Department of Education and Training, Maulana Azad National Urdu University have achieved great success.

According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Dean, School of Education & Training, students of D.El.Ed., B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D. have qualified for teaching posts in various subjects like Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Languages. Muhammad Shahid Raza got first place for Urdu subject in Senior Secondary (12-11). All these students have made the name of MANUU Education and Training Department bright. This achievement not only reflects the academic merit of the candidates but also marks a positive step towards enhancing the education landscape in the state and the country and also highlights the role of the Dept. of  Education and Training.

On this occasion, Dean School of Education & Training, Prof. M Vanaja, Head Dept. of Education and Training Prof Shaheen Altaf Shaikh, Prof Siddiqui Mohd Mahmood (OSD-2) and all the teachers of the Department  congratulated the students and wished them for a better future.

 

MANUU signs MoU with Omega Hospitals, Hyderabad

Hyderabad:

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Omega Hospitals, Hyderabad for its newly launched PG/M.Voc programmes - Medical Imaging Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology. MANUU is also starting Undergraduate courses in collaboration with Omega Hospitals.

The MoU was signed yesterday by  Prof. Ishtiyaq Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU and Dr. CH Namrata, Chief Executive Officer cum Medical Director of Omega Hospitals  in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of MANUU, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan.

Dr. CH Namrata in her address said there is a huge demand and market is open for Nuclear Medicine Technologists. She has suggested to start PG course in Nuclear Medicine and assured help in all kind of support for starting these programmes.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan while welcoming the suggestions of the CEO said to have collaboration with Omega Hospitals in starting B.Voc Nursing course.

Prof. Ishtiyaq Ahmed appreciated the advise of the Vice Chancellor and said we will have further meeting in this connection to have good number of Allied Health and Vocational courses.

Prof. S. Maqbool Ahmed, Nodal Officer briefed about the purpose of MoU and said the School of Sciences of MANUU is planning to add few more UG/PG programmes in future. It has been planned to start new courses like Emergency Medical Technology, Nuclear Medicine courses from the next academic year, he added.

Prof. Shagufta Shaheen, OSD I, Prof. Salman Ahmed Khan, Dean, School of Sciences and Prof. N. Hasan were also present during the signing ceremony.
