MANUU Students Union elections today

Hyderabad:

Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Students’ Union (MSU) election for academic year 2022-23 will be held on January 12 from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon at  MANUU Campus and at off campuses.

Total of 3257 students will cast their votes in the elections for President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Committee at University Headquarters.

According to Prof. Mohammed Abdul Azeem, Chief Returning Officer, this year total of 29 candidates are contesting. Counting of votes will begin after polling from 2.30 pm onwards followed by declaration of result. Prof. Salma Ahmed Farooqui and Prof. Mohd. Razaullah Khan will be the election observers. Twelve returning officers and 135 polling and counting officers have been appointed to conduct the elections smoothly.
