Moulavi Muhammad Baqir Block inaugurated at MANUU Hostel

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) inaugurated newly constructed Moulavi Muhammad Baqir Block of Boys Hostel yesterday evening which is the 5th hostel for boys and the 8th hostel of the campus over all. The block, with capacity to accommodate about 288 boarders and facilities for students from PWD category, was constructed by CPWD. He also planted a sapling to mark the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Ainul Hasan called upon the student’s union to mobilize students to make optimum use of facilities available on the campus. While appreciating the support received from the Government of India and UGC, Prof. Hasan mentioned increasing requirement of the University. MANUU is approaching for collaboration with various ministries and institutions. Various international institutes are also willing to collaborate with MANUU and he desires to have ‘MANUU communities’ across the globe. He also appreciated the efforts of Provost and the team for successful management of hostel affairs and visited to look into the accommodation extended to Civil Service Examination aspirants on the occasion. Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, MANUU also extended best wishes.

MANUU to hold Seminar on ‘’Arabic Language : Challenges and Prospects‘’
Hyderabad:
The Department of Arabic, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with Jame-e-Haramain Sharifain Arabic English Islamic Model Institution of Higher Learning, Hyderabad is organizing a one day National Seminar on “Arabic Language in India: Challenges and Prospects'" on March 02, 2023.
According to Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Head, Department & Seminar Director, the inaugural session will be presided over by Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, OSD II & Dean, School of Education & Training. Prof. Aziz Bano, Dean, School of Language, Linguistics and Indology (SLL&I) will be the patron of the seminar. Prof. Syed Jahangir, Department of Arabic, EFLU, Hyderabad will deliver keynote address.
Inaugural will be held at 10.00 am at Conference Hall, SLL&I. Welcome address will be delivered by Prof. Alim Ashraf Jaisi. Dr. Javed Nadeem Nadvi is the coordinator whereas Dr. Mohammed Shakir Raza is the convener of the seminar.
