Dawat-e-Iftar hosted by Provost Boys and Girls Hostels
Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) hosted a grand Dawat-e-Iftar in the evening of April 12, 2023. The event was organized by Provost Boys and Girls Hostels. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar graced the occasion. Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf, Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Azeem, Proctor, Hostel Wardens, teaching and non-teaching fraternity along with their association representatives attended the Iftar party.
The event was held to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims all over the world. Boarders from the Boys' and Girls' Hostels attended the event in large numbers, showcasing the unity and spirit of the MANUU community.
Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan while addressing the gathering, appreciated the students, teaching and non-teaching staff members for their enthusiasm and active participation in university activities while observing Ramadan rituals. Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf also delivered a talk on the importance of Ramadan and its significance in the Islamic faith.
Dr Misbah coordinated the event, while Dr Javeed Nadvi held Dua and Mr Faizan, MSU President, expressed his gratitude to the organizers, especially the staff members, for their hard work in making the event a success. Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed I. Patel and Prof. Viquarunnissa, Provost Boys and Girls respectively, thanked all the staff members for their efforts in organizing the event.
The Iftar party was a true reflection of the diverse and inclusive spirit of MANUU, bringing together people from different backgrounds to celebrate a common cause. The organizers were applauded for their efforts in organizing the event, which was enjoyed by all those who attended.
