Profile of Mr. Obaidullah Raihan

Mr. Obaidullah Raihan has done three years bachelor degree in Mass Communication & Video Production from Ranchi University after that he completed his PGD in TV Journalism and MJMC. He has also attended short courses in Basic Videography & Multi-Camera TV Studio Operations and Production from Films & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. He also has done short-term e-course on Editing for Film & Television from CEC-UGC, New Delhi.

Mr.Obaidullah also completed online short course on Film Appreciation under the project NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning, Funded by Ministry of HRD, Govt of India).

He has the specialization in Mass Communication and Video Production. His area of interest are Videography, Photography and Editing.

Mr. Obaidullah has 12 years of experience in the field of media especially in Videography, he has also taken practical classes in Videography at MCJ Deptt, MANUU.

Mr. Obaidullah has produced many educational programme for Instructional Media Centre. His directed film Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam been nominated for the competition and screening in 9th National Science Film Festival of India-2019, Chandigarh which was organized by Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. His Film also selected for screening in Global Cinema Festival-2019, Siliguri organized by Film Federation of India.

He has also made a science short documentary titled The Promise of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)- A Film on Polymer. Which also nominated for the competition and screening in International Science Film Festival-2019, Kolkata.
